18 members took part in the curling and Robin and Margaret joined us for dinner. The format was six teams of three playing three separate games. A trail run of no-sweeping between the hog lines was abandoned after the first two ends of play as everyone was freezing.
The results of the curling were very close. Team 1 had four points, four teams had three points and Team 5 ended up with two points. Bottles of wine were presented by President Gordon to Gerry, Charles & Jim. Traditional cooking implements were presented to Douglas and Stuart, Drew having left before dinner. I have saved his "prize" for presentation at our dinner in May.
It was good to see Fraser and Charles back on the ice for the first time this season - no sign of rust in either of their games.
