The winners of this year's competition were John Fingland & Yvonne Chalmers who beat Craig Thomson & Peter Stewart in the final. In the first end John was lying three before his final shot - an open hit and stay for a five - drifted wide of its target. In the second end Craig had a chance to peel the game but his attempted raised double takeout was slightly wide and he could only score one. Final result, a 3-1 win to John & Yvonne.
Teams were drawn by lot at the start of the evening - last year's winners, John & Yvonne were drawn to play together again - claims of a fix will be firmly rebutted!
12 members took part in two mini leagues of three teams followed by semi finals and a final.
The beaten semi finalists were Clarke Perry & Graeme Nicolson and Scott Martin & Max McGill.
